🌐 STARRISE Touchdown Event to Take Place at SEEIC 2025 in Larissa, Greece

The STARRISE project is reaching its final milestone with the organisation of its Touchdown Event, which will take place on 31 October 2025 at JOIST Innovation Park in Larissa, Greece, in the framework of the Southeast European Innovators Challenge (SEEIC 2025).

This two-day presence of STARRISE in Larissa will bring together project partners, SMEs, clusters, and innovation stakeholders from across Europe, marking the culmination of the project’s activities and showcasing its results in building cross-border value chains in the agrifood and logistics sectors.

On 30 October, the consortium will hold the Final Project Meeting, providing partners with an opportunity to reflect on the project’s achievements, share experiences from the regional practices, and discuss the sustainability and future exploitation of the project results.

On the same day, international SMEs from the STARRISE regions participating in the Touchdown Event will take part in study visits to selected enterprises and clusters in Thessaly, gaining first-hand insights into the region’s innovation ecosystem and successful examples of digital and green transformation.

The following day, 31 October, STARRISE will take the spotlight at SEEIC 2025 with its flagship activity – the STARRISE Innovation Sprint: Building Cross-Border Value Chains. This 3-hour hands-on workshop will act as the pilot culmination of the project’s work, where SMEs from the STARRISE regions will:

The Touchdown Event represents the final step in the STARRISE journey, but also a new beginning for the cross-border partnerships and value chains established throughout the project. It highlights how regional ecosystems can work together to foster innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth across Europe.
