Our beloved and hard-working partner, Canary Islands Institute of Technology, will be hosting one of the biggest brokerage event for the agri-food sector in Europe – the Murcia Food 2025 edition!

🌱 What can I expect?

Murcia Food 2025 is more than just a brokerage event — it’s a gateway to global collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing in the agri-food sector. With over 30 countries represented in the 2024 edition, this year’s event promises to be even more impactful. Here is what awaits you:

• Bilateral Meetings (B2) – your chance to connect and thrive!

In 2024, Murcia Food promoted more than 450 meetings, many of which sparked interest in developing new partnerships, joint ventures and collaborative projects. In 2025 edition, the expectations are high: more than 15 countries and almost 500 participants are registered. For sure, here you will find the great fit for a joint project!

• XII International Symposium on Food Technology – your opportunity to learn and create!

Since its beginning, Murcia Food has published around 354 technology offers and requests on agri-food sector! If you want to become part of the numbers, step into the future of food at the in-person International Symposium – a vibrant space to discover the latest breakthroughs in food technology and emerging trends in the agri-food industry.

This year’s thematic areas of Murcia Food 2025 reflects the complexity and innovation of today’s industry! Delving into science, technology and sustainability, you can expect insights from food safety, fraud prevention, health and nutrition and the latest findings in functional foods and « omic » technologies.

🤝  How can I participate?

Good news! European organisations from STARRISE beneficiary countries (Latvia, Portugal, Martinique – France, Greece, Canary Islands – Spain and Romania) and other regions can participate in Murcia Food 2025. 

For STARRISE countries. If you are invested in participating online and you are from a STARRISE beneficiary country, reach your nearest local point and they will assist you. See the STARRISE directory here. Otherwise, if you plan to visit Murcia in person, you can request technical support from the Canary Islands Institute of Technology to participate in Murcia Food 2025. The technical support package includes workshops, B2B programming assistance as well as other useful resources to make the most out of the event.
